Wimbledon Chase School back for another Pizza Making Session, Year 3 collective writting
ITALIAN ADVENTURE
Our topic is called Italian Adventure. As part of our topic we visited Casa Nostra which is an Italian restaurant in Wimbledon. The chef told us about how to make good, healthy pizzas. He even did tricks with the dough by throwing it up in the air and catching it. We got to make our own pizzas and they were cooked in a massive oven. We each got to put our pizza in a real pizza box and they were all brought back to school.
Both classes had decorated the school hall and had set it up as a real Italian restaurant. We named it Ristorante Italiano. We dressed up as chefs, waiters, polishers, greeters and bar staff!!!!(they served fruit juice) We then put on a performance for our parents telling them facts about Italy and singing an Italian opera song. Finally we served our delicious pizzas to our parents. Everyone thought they were fantastic.
It was brilliant day.

In Italy we take our food very seriously, as a matter of fact we worship it. That is why in casa nostra we use top quality ingredients in our kitchen. Our pasta dishes are made “a mano” and all our pizza dough`s are prepared daily and cooked in Woodstone oven in order to perfect the art of pizza.
The food is always second to none with a real emphasis on atmosphere and customer experiences that are set to make "Casa Nostra" another success.
With wines chosen and hand picked very carefully, and the freshest ingredients being bought in daily, you really can't get any closer to Italy without actually being there!
